A dispute broke out between two groups in Jalandhar, Punjab. The dispute escalated to the point where members of both groups attacked each other. A commotion erupted in Jalandhar’s Preet Nagar area over a scooter rider refusing to yield the right of way. What began as a minor argument escalated into a heated exchange of kicks, punches, and slaps. A minor argument between a car driver and a scooter rider in Lane No. 2 over yielding the right of way. The car driver then asked the scooter rider to move, leading to a heated argument. The car driver then got out of his car and began a verbal altercation with the scooter rider.

As the situation escalated, the family members of the elderly scooter rider arrived at the scene. They scuffled with the car driver. Meanwhile, the driver’s T-shirt was torn, so he called his men. As soon as the car driver’s supporters arrived, they began abusing each other, and then both groups exchanged blows with each other. During the exchange, the elderly man’s turban flew in the air, but both sides continued to kick and punch each other. According to reports, both parties involved in the altercation are residents of Ladowali Road.

Locals said that the car driver was driving through a street when the side of the car struck a scooter parked outside the other party’s house. The driver apologized to the scooter owner. Meanwhile, the scooter owner’s son came out and an argument ensued with the car driver. The argument escalated into a scuffle, and the driver’s T-shirt was torn. He then called his men. A heated argument and physical altercation ensued for 10 minutes. Locals intervened and calmed the two sides down.
