Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has been discharged from the hospital. After being discharged from Fortis Mohali, CM Mann has reached the government residence (Chief Minister’s residence) in Chandigarh. Mann was admitted to Fortis for six days due to illness. He was admitted to the hospital last Friday night when his health deteriorated.
Three days ago, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini had reached Fortis Hospital to meet him. Apart from him, Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria also met the CM in the hospital and inquired about his health.
Immediately after being discharged from the hospital, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has come into action mode. As soon as he reached his residence, CM Mann has sought complete information about the flood relief work. A high level meeting has also been called on Friday regarding flood relief work. This meeting will be held at the Chief Minister’s residence in Chandigarh. Secretaries of all departments will be present in the meeting. Apart from this, DCs of all the districts will join the meeting through video conferencing. Information about the plan for cleaning and other relief work will be shared after the water recedes.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was admitted to the hospital, despite his ill health, his enthusiasm did not diminish amidst the disaster like flood in the state. Even after being ill, he was seen fulfilling his responsibility towards Punjab with full honesty. Even after being on drip in the hospital, CM Mann chaired the cabinet meeting through video conferencing. Many decisions were taken in the interest of the flood affected people.
