These people are misleading the people with reference to the figures of the disaster fund. The CM clarified that from April 2022 till now, Rs 1582 has been received from the Center in SDRF, out of which Rs 649 has been spent. The 12281 crores that are being talked about are entries in the respective accounts, which have been going on since the tenure of the Congress government. In this context, Chief Secretary KAP Sinha, who was present with him, also clarified.

The Chief Minister said that all the leaders have migrated from Congress to BJP, they are the ones who are baking political breads. The CM said that he will now serve the people by becoming the state’s Dukh Mantri. He says, I have heard that sharing sorrow reduces and sharing happiness increases. He will now do the same work by going among the disaster-affected people.

These are not the days to be stingy. Punjab knows how to face crises, Punjab has told this to the whole country. In this hour of crisis, people from the country and abroad are sending help wholeheartedly. So far, Rs 48 crore has been deposited in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

JCBs will be purchased in all the districts and made available to the DC. Under the scheme ‘Jiska Khet-Uski Sand’, any farmer who needs a JCB to extract sand from his fields will apply in the DC office and the JCB will reach his field. Whatever I can do for the people of Punjab, I will do it with full courage.
