New Delhi/San Francisco – Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has publicly acknowledged the significant contributions of Indian professionals to American technological advancement, stating that the United States has greatly benefited from the arrival of talented Indians over recent decades.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO made these remarks during an appearance on the “WTF is” podcast hosted by Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath, released on Sunday. The wide-ranging conversation touched on immigration policy, the H-1B visa program, and the global competition for talent.

When Kamath raised the issue of “brain drain” from India, pointing to numerous Indian-origin CEOs leading major Western technology companies, Musk responded with strong agreement.
“Yes, I think America has benefited a lot from the talented Indians who have come here,” Musk said during the podcast. He specifically cited Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Google CEO Sundar Pichai as prime examples of India’s exceptional talent pool contributing to American innovation.
