Rajveer Jawanda Health Update: Singer Currently on Advanced Life Support, Fortis Doctors Reveal Important Information

Doctors have provided a significant update regarding the health of Punjabi singer and actor Rajveer Jawanda. Jawanda is admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali and is on advanced life support.

This is not good news for fans of Punjabi singer and actor Rajveer Jawanda, who was injured in a bike accident. Singer Jawanda has been on advanced life support at Fortis Hospital in Mohali for the past four days. On Wednesday, Fortis doctors provided a health update on the singer’s health.

Doctors say that Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda is on life support under the close supervision of the critical care and neuroscience teams. His neurological condition remains critical. Despite the best efforts of doctors, there is no significant improvement in his condition.

Rajveer Jawanda suffered serious head and spinal injuries in the accident. Since the accident, Rajveer has been on life support and is undergoing treatment at Fortis Hospital in Mohali. His neurological condition remains critical, and brain activity has significantly decreased.

On Tuesday, doctors performed an MRI scan of his brain, which revealed hypoxic changes, meaning a lack of oxygen. Furthermore, an MRI of his spinal cord revealed significant damage to the cervical region, leading to weakness in some of his limbs.

The accident occurred on Saturday
Last Saturday, Punjabi singer Jawanda was involved in an accident with a BMW bike in Pinjore, Panchkula. Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda, who was riding his bike near Sector 30 T-Point on the Pinjore-Nalagarh Road, was involved in an accident caused by a bullfight. The singer was traveling from Baddi to Pinjore. When a bull suddenly appeared in front of him, his bike lost control, and he fell on the highway, sustaining serious injuries.

His mother was the village sarpanch.
A wave of prayers is continuing in Rajveer Jawanda’s ancestral village, Pauna, Ludhiana, and the surrounding areas. Villagers are praying for his well-being by performing Akhand Paath and Ardaas at the Gurudwara Sahib. Rajveer Jawanda’s mother, Paramjit Kaur, was the village sarpanch. As a child, his singing was praised during a Doordarshan shoot, and that’s where his inclination towards music began. After completing his studies in Jagraon, he earned an MA in Theatre and Television from Punjabi University, Patiala.

Left Police Job for Singing
Rajveer’s father, Karam Singh, was an ASI in the Punjab Police. Rajveer also joined the Punjab Police in 2011 and served in Jagraon. However, in 2019, he left his job to pursue a singing career.

Debut Album Released in 2014
Rajveer began his career with the album Munda Like Me in 2014 and gained recognition with his 2016 album, Kali Jawanda Di. In 2017, songs like Muqabla and Kangana became hits. He then delivered several superhit songs, including Patiala Shahi Pag, Kesari Jhanda, Landlord, and Surname. In 2018, he made his acting debut with the Punjabi film Subedar Joginder Singh and went on to star in films like Kaka Ji, Jind Jaan, Mindo Tehsildarni, and Sikandar 2.

Jawanda’s passion for bike riding
Rajveer used to distribute sweets to children when he visited the village. He was fond of bike riding and had recently purchased a BMW worth 2.7 million rupees. While traveling to Shimla on this bike, he met with an accident, suffering serious head and spinal injuries. Rajveer’s grandfather and father have passed away. He lives with his wife, Ashwinder Kaur, daughter, Hemant Kaur, and son, Dilawar Singh.
