After the order of DGP Surendra Yadav in Chandigarh, SSP Kanwardeep Kaur took major action against immigration companies on Wednesday. Police registered 11 cases against 13 people and arrested 5 accused. SSP Kanwardeep Kaur formed a special team to raid immigration companies. The team raided different parts of the city.

Claims are being made to get people jobs abroad on good packages. The police is investigating how many people these people have sent abroad.
Police registered cases against these companies
– Sector-3 police station registered a case against Annu Thakur, operator of Miles Stone Immigration Company located in Sector-8C and Alka Thakur, owner of Greenland Overseas operating in Sector-8C, and arrested them.
– Sector-17 police station registered three cases. A case was registered against Rajkumar, a resident of Kumbhara village in Mohali, for running Abraad Plus Consultant illegally. An FIR was registered against Sagar Singh, a resident of Ferozepur, for running an immigration consultancy agency illegally.
– A case was registered against Gagandeep Singh, a resident of Sector-22D, for running GS Visa Point Private Limited immigration firm illegally. – Sector-19 police station registered a case against Harshdeep Singh, a resident of Ropar, who runs an immigration company named Kalegiri Overseas in Sector-20 and arrested him.
– Sector-31 police station arrested Rupinder, a resident of Samana Khurd village in Rupnagar, who runs a company named Divine Immigration in Sector-41, and Arif, a resident of Housing Board Flat Maloya, and seized documents.
– Sector-34 police station arrested Vikas Malhotra, who runs an immigration firm named Dream Future in Sector-34. Apart from this, a case was registered against Vikas Batra, director of Toronto Wings in Sector-34, and Vinay Chaudhary, director of Varsity Overseas.
– Maloya police station registered a case against Rajveer Singh and Satyam Bhatnagar, residents of Patiala, for running an illegal firm named Satyam Immigration in Maloya. Police also recovered CPU, 60 passports and Rs 2 lakh 60 thousand from the office.
