BATHINDA – The Civil Lines Police have apprehended a college student after he was caught smuggling a significant quantity of narcotic capsules onto campus grounds. The arrest followed a proactive security check by college authorities on Tuesday morning.

The Incident
The recovery took place during a routine security screening at the college entrance. As the student arrived for his classes, administration staff conducted a mandatory check, during which they discovered ten strips of narcotic capsules concealed in his possession.
Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the college management immediately alerted the local authorities. A team from the Civil Lines Police Station, led by SHO Ravinder Singh, arrived at the scene to take the student into custody and seize the contraband.
Police Investigation and Interrogation
According to SHO Ravinder Singh, the police are now focused on tracing the supply chain.
