Police at the Khilchian station in Amritsar Rural District have arrested a young man suspected of operating on behalf of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence. The accused, identified as Rahul Kumar, was taken into custody following a coordinated operation carried out on the basis of specific intelligence inputs and sustained field surveillance.
Preliminary investigations have revealed a pattern of activities consistent with espionage, and officials believe the accused maintains contacts extending across the international border.
