Terror Plot Exposed: Pak-Army Hand Grenades and Karachi-Made ‘Foreign’ Pistols Flood Punjab’s Underworld

CHANDIGARH – A chilling cross-border conspiracy has been unmasked as the Punjab Police and central intelligence agencies intercept high-grade military hardware and sophisticated counterfeit firearms intended to destabilize the region. Investigations have confirmed that the Pakistani intelligence agency, the ISI, is now directly supplying Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) manufactured hand grenades to local gangster syndicates, marking a dangerous escalation in the “narco-terror” nexus.

The Smoking Gun: POF-Marked Military Hardware

Recent recoveries by the Punjab Police have provided undeniable evidence of state-sponsored interference. Unlike the generic or Chinese-made explosives typically seen in the past, several seized hand grenades bear the distinct stamps of the Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF)—the same facility that equips the Pakistani Army.

“The presence of POF-marked grenades indicates a direct line of supply from Pakistani military stores to the hands of criminals in Punjab,” stated a senior police official. “This is no longer just petty smuggling; it is a deliberate attempt to arm local gangs with military-grade lethality.”

The Border Security Force (BSF) recently bolstered these findings by intercepting a consignment of cartridges and ammunition that also originated from the same ordnance factory.

The ‘Special Gift’ Strategy: Counterfeit Foreign Pistols

In a bid to entice local gangsters and boost the prestige of criminal syndicates, the ISI has shifted its manufacturing strategy. Intelligence reports reveal that high-quality pistol replicas are being mass-produced in Karachi and surrounding areas.

These indigenously made Pakistani weapons are being deceptively branded to appear as high-end international models:

  • Foreign Forgery: The pistols are stamped with “Made in” markings from various European and American countries to deceive buyers and users regarding their origin.

  • The “Special Gift” Inscription: In a bizarre psychological tactic, some of these premium-grade replicas have the words “Special Gift” etched into the metal, specifically intended for high-profile gang leaders.

  • Lethal Precision: Officials note that these Karachi-made pistols are far superior to the crude “Desi” weapons traditionally used by local criminals, offering reliability that rivals genuine foreign brands.

Drone Delivery and the ISI Network

The logistics of this “sinister plot” rely heavily on modern technology. The ISI is reportedly utilizing GPS-coordinated drones to drop these weapon consignments at predetermined points along the International Border.

To ensure the weapons reach their final destination, a sophisticated network of local operatives has been established. While the Punjab Police have apprehended several key members of this chain, a massive manhunt is underway to dismantle the remaining “sleeper cells” facilitating these deliveries across state lines, including Rajasthan and Haryana.

Security Forces on High Alert

The Punjab Police, in coordination with central agencies, has intensified its “Cordon and Search Operations” (CASO) in border districts. The focus has shifted from mere narcotics interdiction to a comprehensive counter-terrorism approach, treating every “gangster” recovery as a potential national security threat.

“Our objective is clear,” the department spokesperson added. “We are working with full force to thwart Pakistan’s sinister designs. Every link in this chain, from the drone pilots across the border to the local receivers, is being mapped and neutralized.”
