ABOHAR — Local police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and senior lawyer Arvind Bajaj following allegations of sexual harassment made by a woman who previously worked with him.
According to Abohar City Police Station Station House Officer (SHO) Maninder Singh, authorities initiated legal proceedings after receiving a formal complaint originating from a government hospital where the victim was admitted for treatment.

The Accused: Arvind Bajaj, an AAP leader and senior lawyer based in Abohar, Fazilka district.

The Complainant: A married woman mother of five daughters who had been working with the accused. She is currently living separately from her husband alongside two of her daughters due to an ongoing family dispute pending in court.

The Allegations: The victim alleged that she faced sexual harassment while at work, prompting her admission to a government hospital for medical care. The police action was triggered by a complaint forwarded to them by the hospital administration.

Ongoing Investigation
Law enforcement officials have confirmed that every aspect of the case is being probed thoroughly.
“We have registered a case based on the hospital’s complaint. The investigation is currently ongoing, and further legal steps will be determined strictly by the evidence and facts that emerge,” SHO Maninder Singh stated.
