In village Akku Mastke of Ferozepur, a young man shot and killed his maternal uncle due to a minor land dispute. It is being told that both of them had land nearby. There was a dispute over the division of land.
The elder brother of deceased Mukhtiyar Singh, resident of village Akku Mastke, present in the Civil Hospital, said that his brother was watering the paddy crop in the field. Just then his nephew Sukhdev Singh reached there. He abused Mukhtiyar Singh. The matter escalated. Sukhdev Singh and his family members shot Mukhtiyar. Even after shooting him, the accused dragged him to their mansion and kept attacking him with a sharp weapon. Mukhtiyar died on the spot.
