Surrey (Canada): Popular Indian comedian Kapil Sharma’s restaurant, Caps Café, has once again been targeted by gunfire. This marks the third shooting incident at the café within the last four months. Gangster Goldy Brar, a close aide of Lawrence Bishnoi, has claimed responsibility for the latest attack on social media.

According to police sources, the latest firing occurred late on Thursday night outside the café located in Surrey, British Columbia. The incident caused panic in the area, but no injuries or fatalities were reported.
This is the third such attack since July 2025. The first shooting took place on July 10, when some staff members were inside the café. The second incident occurred on August 8, during which around 25 bullets were fired at the premises.
Soon after the most recent incident, social media posts allegedly linked to Goldy Brar and Kuldeep Sidhu surfaced, claiming responsibility for all three shootings. The post read:
“I, Kuldeep Sidhu, and Goldy Dhillon take responsibility for the three shootings at Caps Café. We have no enmity with the public. Those who have disputes with us should stay away. Those who engage in illegal activities and do not pay people should also be prepared.”
The repeated attacks have sparked concern among the Indian community in Canada, especially given the rising trend of gang-linked violence targeting South Asian businesses.
Local police have launched an investigation and are examining CCTV footage and digital evidence to verify the authenticity of the online claims. No arrests have been made so far.

Authorities are also coordinating with Canadian federal agencies amid fears of a larger extortion or gang rivalry angle behind the attacks.
