Jalandhar News: Police raids houses of seven gangsters including Lawrence, checks financial records

Abohar. Rajasthan Police raided the hideouts of seven gangsters for the financial trail of gangsters. This includes Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi and five other gangsters. These include Rohit, Amit, Kartik, Vishal, Yogesh. Police and NIA have placed a reward on them. Police of Sriganganagar, Rajasthan raided Lawrence Bishnoi’s house in Dutaranwali village of Abohar tehsil on Wednesday morning. During this, the village was transformed into a cantonment. This raid was conducted by the police to investigate the financial history of the gangsters. This action of the police is considered important in the direction of breaking the illegal earnings and network of criminals.

Sriganganagar Police went to Lawrence Bishnoi’s residence in Dutaranwali village early in the morning and investigated. His family members were questioned. Police raided Rohit Godara’s village Thana Kalu, Amit Pandit’s village 15 Z and the houses of Kartik Jakhar and Vishal Pachar. The action was taken under the direction of Superintendent of Police Dr. Amrita Duhan and about 300 policemen from STF, Kalika Unit, Dog Squad, Deep Metal Detector and various police stations participated in it.

Special teams were formed for the investigation. They conducted a thorough investigation of the properties of the criminals from farms to houses in the city. 100 bighas of land and vehicles were checked in the village of Bishnoi brothers. The team raided village Dutaranwali under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Raghuveer Prasad Sharma. Here a reward of one lakh rupees has been announced on Anmol Bishnoi. The team checked the ancestral house, tractor, Scorpio, trolley and agricultural equipment. Details of about 100 bighas of land were also taken. The house was searched with dog squad and metal detector.

The second team raided Lunkaransar area under the leadership of ASP Surendra Kumar. Bikaner police has declared a reward of one lakh and NIA has declared six lakh rupees on accused Rohit Godara. The third team raided 15 Z village under the leadership of DSP Rahul Yadav. A reward of 25 thousand rupees each has been declared on accused Amit Pandit and Yogesh Swami. The fourth team raided Dhani One KLD under the leadership of Anupgarh DSP Prashant Kaushik. There is a reward of 25 thousand rupees on accused Kartik Jakhar. The fifth team reached the old population of Sri Ganganagar city under the leadership of traffic DSP Ramesh Machra. Apart from Sri Ganganagar, police from many districts including Abohar, Bikaner, Lunkaransar, Suratgarh and Anupgarh of Punjab were deployed in this operation.
