Police has arrested Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Nardev Singh Bobby Mann. Nardev Singh Bobby Mann is the son of late former MP Zora Singh Mann. Fazilka police has arrested Bobby Mann.
Police has arrested Nardev Singh Bobby Mann, son of party’s district president late former MP Zora Singh Mann, who contested the election on Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) ticket from District Ferozepur parliamentary seat.
This case has emerged as a big challenge for the Akali Dal as the party has already been on the target of the ruling party due to incidents of violence during the Panchayat elections. Bobby Mann was trying to avoid arrest ever since the police registered a case in this matter. He had filed an anticipatory bail petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court but the court rejected his bail petition after hearing all the arguments. After this decision, Fazilka police showed strictness and caught him. After arresting Bobby Mann, he was brought to City Police Station where his supporters had gathered.
