AAP leader Kimti Bhagat’s 18-year-old nephew Mohit had done wood carving work in someone’s mansion two months ago. The mansion owner had complained about the theft of 6 gold bangles and cash, after which the police took him into custody.

A young man was kept in illegal custody for 15 hours in Jalandhar police station division number seven. The father who reached the police station following his son was also pushed out of the police station. When the young man’s uncle Kimti Bhagat reached the police station, he was also threatened with the uniform.
AAP senior leader Kimti Bhagat said that his 18-year-old nephew Mohit does wood carving along with studying. Two months ago he had worked in someone’s mansion. Now the mansion owner has complained that 6 gold bangles and cash have been stolen from his mansion.
On Monday, his nephew Mohit was called to the police station and kept in illegal custody for 10 hours. Bhagat says that it is Kabir Maharaj’s Prakashotsav, so a procession had to be taken out. The SHO released Mohit at night and made him sit in the police station again on Tuesday morning.
Kimti Bhagat says that when his brother went to the police station, he was pushed out. When he himself went to the police station later, he was mistreated. When he complained to Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur, she was also misled.
