A private bank located in Sector-68 of Mohali created a stir when a man shot himself in the bank. The deceased immigration company owner shot himself in the bathroom of HDFC Bank and died. The deceased has been identified as Rajveer Singh. He shot himself with his 45 bore pistol. The deceased was originally from Moga. It is being told that Rajveer went to the bathroom of the bank and shot himself. His body was taken out by breaking the bathroom door. He had a deep bullet wound on his head. After this incident in the bank, the entire staff was terrified and the branch manager immediately informed the police control room about it.
After receiving the information, SHO Phase-8 Satnam Singh reached the spot with the police party. The police took the body into custody and kept it in the mortuary of Civil Hospital Phase-6 for postmortem. At the same time, the pistol of the deceased has also been seized. Investigation revealed that he had bought this pistol three months ago, which is said to be licensed. The police has also obtained the footage of the CCTV camera installed inside the bank.
It is being told that Rajveer was working in immigration for many years. He had an outland immigration company in Sector-82. His brother has an immigration office in Phase-11. He lived in a rented house in Sector-80. On Tuesday, he went to the HDFC branch in Sector-68. He reached the loan branch on the second floor of the branch, at that time two more people were also with him. As seen in the CCTV, he first talked to the staff and then went to the bathroom. Where he shot himself by placing the pistol on his head. Hearing the gunshot, there was chaos in the bank and the two people who came with him fled from the spot. The bank staff immediately informed the police, after which the police broke the bathroom door and took out Rajdeep’s body. According to sources, Rajveer had applied for a loan in the bank, he was worried about it.
