Punjabi singer and actor Rajveer Jawanda was injured in a horrific road accident on September 27. He was on ventilator in Fortis Hospital, Mohali for 11 days.
Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda has passed away during treatment.
Jawanda, who was injured in the bike accident, was on advanced life support system at Fortis Hospital in Mohali. On September 27, Punjabi singer Jawanda had an accident with a BMW bike in Pinjore, Panchkula.
Punjabi singer Rajveer Jawanda, who was coming on a bike near Sector-30 T Point on Pinjore-Nalagarh Road, became a victim of an accident due to bull fighting. Singer was coming to Pinjore from Baddi. When suddenly the bull came forward, his bike went out of control and he fell on the highway and got seriously injured. Rajveer Jawanda suffered serious head and spinal injuries in the accident. Rajveer was on life support since the accident.
Mother has been the sarpanch of the village.
The round of prayers was going on in Rajveer Jawanda’s ancestral village Pauna in Ludhiana and surrounding areas. The people of the village were praying for his well-being by performing Akhand Paath and Ardaas in Gurudwara Sahib. Rajveer Jawanda’s mother Paramjit Kaur has been the sarpanch of the village. In his childhood, his singing was praised during the shooting of Doordarshan and from there his inclination towards music started. After completing his studies from Jagraon, he did MA in Theater and Television from Punjabi University, Patiala.
First album was released in 2014
Rajveer started his career with the album “Munda Like Me” in 2014 and got recognition with “Kali Jawande Di” in 2016. Songs like “Muqabla” and “Kangni” became hits in 2017. After this he gave many superhit songs including “Patiala Shahi Pag”,” Kesari Jhande”,” Landlord”, “Surname”. In 2018, he made his acting debut with the Punjabi film “Subedar Joginder Singh” and acted in films like “Kaka Ji”, “Jind Jaan”, “Mindo Tehsildarni”, “Sikandar 2”.
