Ahmedabad Shockwave: Cops Smash Rave Party in “Dry” Gujarat — 20 Nabbed, Including 13 Foreigners! Booze, Drugs, and Cash Worth Lakhs Seized!

In a state where liquor is banned, Ahmedabad Police have blown the lid off a high-profile rave party being run right under their noses! The raid at a posh Shilaj farmhouse has stunned the city — a full-blown liquor-and-drugs bash was thriving behind closed doors in “dry” Gujarat.

Late Saturday night, a police team stormed Zephyr Stay Farmhouse in the Bopal area after receiving a tip-off about an illegal liquor party. What they found inside looked straight out of a nightclub — foreign liquor bottles popping, hookahs blazing, loud DJ beats, and foreigners dancing freely.

20 Detained — 13 Foreigners Among Them

Police detained 20 revellers, including 13 foreign nationals. The lavish party was organized by a man identified as John, who had turned prohibition into a profit racket. Tickets were being sold from ₹700 to ₹15,000 — with open access to booze, drugs, and entertainment.

Liquor, Hookahs & Cash Worth ₹6.5 Lakh Seized

The police haul was massive: foreign liquor, beer cans, 13 hookahs, mobile phones, ₹40,000 cash, and a car — all seized on the spot. The total recovery value stands at nearly ₹6.5 lakh.

⚠️ Police Call It “A Slap on Gujarat’s Prohibition Law”

Officers say this was no small gathering — it was a well-organized, paid rave party mocking Gujarat’s liquor ban. “They were partying like there’s no tomorrow,” said a senior officer. “But their tomorrow came faster than they expected.”

A foreign woman dancer was also reportedly hired for the event. The police have launched a full-scale probe to trace who financed and supplied the liquor. More arrests are expected in the coming days.
