The explosion occurred during the early hours of Friday, causing the top lid of a storage tank to blow off, which triggered a significant blaze within the facility. The sudden nature of the blast caused immediate panic among the workforce. According to staff reports, the factory was actively storing ethanol, a highly flammable substance, which intensified the fire-fighting efforts.

Emergency Response

All employees were safely evacuated from the premises immediately following the explosion. Multiple fire tenders were rushed to the scene to contain the spreading flames.
