Kshatriya Karni Sena Issues Warning Over Controversial Statement
December 26, 2025
The Chandigarh administration has been placed on heightened security alert following a threat issued against Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria on social media. The warning was posted by Raj Shekhawat, national president of the Kshatriya Karni Sena, in connection with a controversial statement made by the Governor last week.

The Threat
Raj Shekhawat issued the threat through his Twitter handle, directly targeting Governor Kataria over remarks allegedly made during a public event in Rajasthan. The statement in question was delivered on December 22 at a foundation stone laying ceremony held in Gogunda Dhuli Ghati, Udaipur.
Security Response
Following the social media threat, officials have swung into action to ensure the Governor’s safety. Chief Secretary S. Rajesh Prasad confirmed that measures are underway to prevent any potential incident.
“The Governor’s security is already tight, but security and investigations will be further intensified after contacting the relevant departments,” Prasad stated. “All necessary steps will be implemented immediately.”
The administration has coordinated with relevant security agencies to enhance protective measures and launch a formal investigation into the threatening communication.

Status Update
As of now, Governor Gulab Chand Kataria has not filed a formal complaint regarding the threat nor has he issued a public statement addressing the matter. The focus remains on bolstering security protocols and investigating the source and credibility of the threat.
The Kshatriya Karni Sena, a cultural and historical activist organization, has been vocal on matters pertaining to heritage and cultural issues in the past. The exact details of the Governor’s controversial remarks have not been disclosed in official statements.
Authorities have assured that the situation is under control and that enhanced vigilance will remain in effect until further notice.
