AMRITSAR In an effort to protect job-seeking youth from organized fraud, the administration at Sri Guru Ram Das Ji International Airport has issued a formal public advisory warning against a surge in deceptive recruitment advertisements currently circulating online.

The airport authority has explicitly clarified that it has not authorized any private agency, third-party website, or individual to conduct recruitment processes or accept job applications on its behalf.

Official Protocols for Applicants

The administration emphasized that the integrity of the hiring process is paramount. To avoid falling victim to fraudulent schemes, candidates are advised to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Verified Channels Only: All official recruitment advertisements, application procedures, and related notifications are published exclusively on the official website of the Airports Authority of India (AAI).

  • Zero Tolerance for Fees: The authority does not solicit payments or fees for recruitment. Any individual or agency demanding money or sensitive personal documentation in exchange for an “assured” job at the airport is engaging in criminal activity.

  • Verify Before You Apply: Applicants should disregard any non-official claims of facilitation for airport employment. Always cross-reference job postings with the official AAI portal.

Call to Action

The airport management has urged the public to remain vigilant and proactive. Anyone who encounters suspicious job postings or is approached by individuals claiming to represent the airport for recruitment purposes should immediately report the incident to the nearest police station.

Reporting these activities is essential for the police to investigate the matter thoroughly and take the necessary legal action against those attempting to defraud unsuspecting candidates.

This advisory follows a series of recent incidents where job seekers were targeted and defrauded by imposters. The airport administration reiterates that the only legitimate path to employment at the facility is through the official channels maintained by the Airports Authority of India.
