Demanded to build a railway flyover as soon as possible
During this time, people were seen demanding the government to build a railway flyover on this railway gate as soon as possible. There are dozens of small and big societies on the other side of the railway gate. A large number of people live in Peermuchhalla and Dhakoli areas who have to travel to Chandigarh, Mohali, Ambala Patiala and local Baltana and Zirakpur areas every day. But the gate remains closed most of the time.

When the plan to build an under bridge on this railway gate was made, the Municipal Council had also deposited its share of the amount to the Railways. But its work has not started yet. But now the administration is talking about building a flyover here. Looking at the problem of the people, if a flyover or underpass is built here, then accidents like breaking the gate will be eliminated.

A case has been registered under the Railway Act by the RPF against the car driver who hit and broke the pole at the railway gate. This matter is being investigated thoroughly. Action will be taken against the car driver as per the rules. – Naveen Kumar, DCM Ambala Division, Northern Railway.

An overbridge should be built as soon as possible.

There was a plan to build a railway under bridge on this railway gate, but now the administration has made a plan to build a railway over bridge on this railway gate and sent it to the senior railway officials. The district administration should show more speed for this. To start the work of the overbridge, talks should be held with the senior railway officials. So that the residents of small and big societies and colonies built on the other side of the railway gate can get relief from the trouble of coming and going to this side. – Kulbhushan Sharma, President Unified Residents Welfare Association Dhakoli.
