Punjab: Attackers came on Thar in Khadoor Sahib, fired bullets on Sarpanch, retired soldier confronted the accused alone

In Khadoor Sahib of Punjab, some miscreants attacked the Sarpanch of the village. The accused also fired bullets on the Sarpanch with the intention of killing him. At the same time, the Sarpanch clashed with the accused. The accused riding on Thar fired bullets on Sarpanch Jassa Singh Sidhu of village Bhattal Sahaja Singh of police station Shri Goindwal Sahib of Khadoor Sahib. The Sarpanch fought bravely with the attackers. During this, all the bullets fired from the pistol kept going towards the sky. Meanwhile, the accused attacked the Sarpanch with sticks, he has been admitted to the hospital in an injured condition.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Sarpanch Jassa Singh Sidhu told that he does transport business. In the Panchayat elections, he contested the Sarpanch election from Aam Aadmi Party. After winning the election, he was constantly being threatened, but he took the matter lightly.

On Friday, Sarpanch Jassa Singh Sidhu was going towards village Chamba, on the way, eight accused riding a Thar fired about 6 bullets from a foreign pistol. The retired Sarpanch from the army fought bravely with the pistol attacker and all the bullets went towards the sky. Meanwhile, other accused attacked Jassa Singh Sidhu with a baseball. Jassa Singh Sidhu, injured in the attack, has been admitted to the hospital. As soon as the information was received, DSP Atul Soni, police station in-charge Inspector Prabhjeet Singh Gill reached the spot and started the investigation.
