Punjab: Government launches eight new online services, all these works including license for pets will be done from home

The government has given a big relief to the people of Punjab. The Punjab government has launched eight new online services. The cabinet minister hoped that these new services will significantly improve the experience of citizens and set a standard for other states.

The Punjab government has decided to launch eight new services under the Local Bodies Department. This will provide a lot of relief to the people. These facilities include online application and issuance facility of pet licenses for urban residents, digital platform for managing rental and lease agreements, online permissions for advertisements and hoardings, e-challan system for traffic and other violations and online payment of garbage fee for citizens.

Urban Local Bodies Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh said that Punjab is already a leading state in providing e-governance services and these new initiatives aim to take urban services to the next level. He informed that the eight new services will not only improve the efficiency of our local bodies but will also provide citizens convenient and transparent access to essential services. The services will be made available to citizens in a transparent and online manner with real-time updates and tracking capabilities. The Cabinet Minister hoped that these new services will significantly improve the experience of citizens and set a benchmark for other states.
