Counter Intelligence Jalandhar has busted the Babbar Khalsa International terrorist module. Police arrested two terrorists with 2.5 kg of IED/RDX and a remote control.
This module was operated by UK-based handlers Nishan Jorian and Adesh Jamrai, under the instructions of BKI mastermind Harvinder Singh Rinda.
Two terrorists, Gurjinder Singh and Dewan Singh, were arrested from Jalandhar. Investigation revealed that the IED was intended for a targeted terror attack. An FIR has been registered at PS SSOC Amritsar under relevant sections of the UAPA and the Explosive Substances Act.
