The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has banned eight drugs in the state. The use and purchase of eight drugs has been banned in all government hospitals in Punjab.
Recently, in Madhya Pradesh (MP), more than 20 children died after consuming cough syrup. Following this incident, the Punjab government took strict action and banned cold and cough syrup in the state.
Now, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has banned eight drugs in the state. The use and purchase of eight drugs has been banned in all government hospitals in Punjab. The government issued this order on Sunday.
The Directorate of Health and Family Welfare issued the order in this regard. This decision was taken after complaints of adverse reactions after administering the drugs to patients. These drugs, manufactured by three pharmaceutical companies, have been completely banned.
