Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has declared war on poor-quality roadwork! Launching a massive ₹3,425 crore project to repair 19,492 km of link roads from Tarn Taran, Mann announced the formation of a CM Flying Squad to keep every inch of the project under strict watch.
The squad — including top officers from the Punjab Mandi Board and PWD — will conduct surprise inspections across Malwa, Majha, and Doaba to ensure not a single rupee is wasted and no substandard work is tolerated.
“No compromise on road quality. Anyone cutting corners will face strict action,” warned CM Mann.
With the new Flying Squad in action, the state government aims to ensure transparency, accountability, and corruption-free development in Punjab’s villages.
