JALANDHAR: In a major blow to organized crime syndicates in Punjab, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police’s Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) staff has arrested four dreaded shooters aligned with the notorious Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar.
Acting on a precise intelligence tip-off, law enforcement intercepted the heavily armed suspects before they could execute a major criminal conspiracy in the region. The police also recovered a substantial cache of illegal weapons, ammunition, and a vehicle used in their operations.

Intelligence-Led Operation Foils Major Crime
The high-stakes operation was executed under the direct supervision of Jalandhar Police Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur. Acting on reliable inputs that a group of heavily armed youths was roaming the city with the intent to carry out target killings and extortion, the CIA staff swiftly swung into action.
Strategic checkpoints (nakas) were established at key locations, including Cantt Road and Urban Estate Phase-2. The tactical deployment paid off when the team intercepted a silver-coloured Maruti Suzuki Swift car and apprehended the four suspects.
